MATT O’RILEY has described one of his Celtic teammates as a ‘loose cannon.’
And the midfield ace has backed up that statement by revealing all on a brutal prank that left another Hoops ace unable to drive his CAR.
O’Riley, who’s heading-off to join the Denmark squad for the international break, was asked about the biggest dressing room prank he’d seen during his career.
And it didn’t take long for one to come to mind!
O’Riley’s thoughts immediately turned to teammate Cameron Carter-Vickers– who apparently has a love of causing prank chaos!
O’Riley told Celtic TV: “Cameron Carter-Vickers is a loose cannon, I don’t know if everyone knows this, but he is!
“He is (a reserved guy) but when it comes to prank, something kinda of clicks in his brain and he’s got a real joy about doing it.”
And then came the example, which left Stephen Welsh– who partnered Carter-Vickers at centre-back last weekend – without his CAR.
O’Riley revealed how Carter-Vickers, 26, CLAMPED a wheel on Welsh’s car before heading home.
Bewildered Welsh then found his motor clamped – and had to make his own way to Carter-Vickers’ house to begin sorting out!
O’Riley continued: “I think it’s between him and Welshy – I’m not even sure I’m allowed to say this but I’m going to say it anyway!
“He ended up clamping Welshy’s car tyre and driving all the way back home.
“Welshy went out to his car and saw what had happened, didn’t really know what to do.
“He ended up having to drive all the way to Cam’s apartment via an Uber. Cam gave him the keys to get the wheel and he had to go back.
“It just shows the dedication he gives to seeing to a prank through!
“It’s not my story to tell but I’ve told it!”
O’Riley, Carter-Vickers and Welsh will all be heading to the United States this summer.
That’s where Celtic are heading for a pre-season tour.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will face TWO English Premier League heavyweights in the form of Manchester City and Chelsea.
The Hoops will also take on MLS outfit DC United during their time Stateside.
