STEPHEN WELSH believes Celtic can make home advantage count to finally kick-start their Champions League campaign.
Welsh& Co face back-to-back games in Glasgow against RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk, which will go a long way to determining their Group F fate.

They welcome the Germans to Celtic Park on Tuesday night looking for a much-needed victory to boost their hopes of European football after Christmas, having suffered a 3-1 defeat in the RB Arena last midweek.
After playing well in spells, Welsh believes Celts are capable of producing a 90-minute performance to get the result they need.
He said: “We want to put in a good performance and play our football against Leipzig, which we did in parts last week.

“But we have to do that for the full 90 minutes, instead of just wee bits and pieces.
“Every team we are going to play will have dangerous players. That is the level in the Champions League.
“Leipzig showed that the other night, but we have shown as well that we can create chances.
“At Celtic Park, with the home crowd behind us, we can go and do the same thing.

“We know it is going to be tough, but we are going to go into it the same way to try to play our football, attack and press high.
“That is probably what you would expect from us now.
“It is about recovering and preparing so we will be ready to go again on Tuesday night.
“It’s still in our hands to qualify.”
